Patient Testimonials

Dear Jeff and Sandpiper,

Thank you for the lovely plant Sandpiper sent to Barry and myself. Your sympathy was very much appreciated on the passing of my Dad Guido "Guy" Morino.

But most importantly, I want to thank Sandpiper for being the loving family they have been to us. As you know, Barry and I were there everyday to see Dad and from the moment we walked in the door, we felt like we were home! We were greeted by Margaret with a smile on her face, got any issues or concerns, large or small, resolved by Kay, Carol or Teresa and because of them and for which we are eternally grateful, we had more time to enjoy and visit with Dad. This was important to us. As you all know, Dad did not want to be disturbed when he played poker with us. After all, he beat us more times that we can count!

Now on to Joeton and the nurses and CNA's on Wing A! Joeton, you are the best and what a caring, dedicated and knowledgeable staff you have. They took loving care of Dad and always found time in their busy schedule to answer all my questions or concerns, large or small about Dad. They never made me feel that I was "bothering" them. The same with you Joe, whenever I appeared in your doorway! I am sure at times you wished you had a secret exit door when you saw me coming!

Rehab, thank you for all the therapy you did with Dad but most of all for taking the time to talk while he "worked out" about his Mets and his profession. You were interested in him as a person which meant so much to us.

Also, a thank you to Johnny and Rickie in maintenance and all the staff that do the cleaning and laundry. I feel I know you personally because you always went out of your way to say hi to Dad as you worked or joked with him about cards or his beloved Mets.

Thank you Cynthia, Sandpiper's social director and staff for putting a smile on Dad's face. Again this meant so much to us!

Jeff, you have a wonderful staff at Sandpiper and please let corporate know. They are all assets I Please share a copy of this letter to all the above departments.

Again, all our thanks and appreciation.

Fondly,
Barbara & Barry Sanders
